The foundation was started in 2004 as a continuation of the legacy left behind by Roma Pryma Bohachevsky
and consists of all the schools and programs that she initiated and developed. These elements have been
broken down into the main categories we see today as Syzokryli the company, the summer camps which
includes a dance workshop and dance camps and several affiliated schools in the NY, NJ area all under the
foundation umbrella as well as UCDA, inc. The goal is preservation of this unique style of Ukrainian dance
as well as spreading the wealth of knowledge passed down to all that are willing to learn.
