The Syzokryli Dance Ensemble offers plenty
of activities during the summer months. Using the Ukrainian
facilities of Soyuzivka and Verkhovyna, three sessions of
dance instruction are offered.
The first, starting at the end of June is
a 3-week workshop for more accomplished dancers.
The next two sessions are each a two week
children's camp, A two week camp at Verkovyna takes place
at the end of July. In mid-August Soyuzivka hosts the second
children's camp.
Each camp offers traditional Ukrainian dance
from numerous regions, along with interpretive dancing. The
culmination of the child's progress is shown in a recital,
and fun had by all.
