Pryvit |

|
Syzokryli's
Pryvit, or "Welcome Dance", is a traditional way
Ukrainian Dancers greet their audience. We welcome you with
a dance from a noble age, a time when men laid down their
arms and took to luxurious topcoats, while the women displayed
their finest embroidery. While the manner may be courtly,
the pace will soon quicken, hinting as to what is yet in
store. The dance concludes with the traditional offering
of bread and salt, one for luck, the other a toast to your
health. |
